Portocanna is a medical cannabis processor working to create the largest European symbiotic ecosystem of medical cannabis. The project was founded by serial entrepreneurs with complementary backgrounds in medical cannabis and biotech, and is supported by a team with more than 85 years of combined experience in EU pharmaceutical operations and extractions of oils.
Our vision has been backed by international Family Offices that have successfully invested in and built billion-euro operations.

CANNVALUE project
The CANNVALUE project, part of the SIID – Business R&D – Co-promotion initiative, is led by Portocanna in partnership with Universidade de Aveiro, ISQ (Instituto da Soldadura e Qualidade), and IPMA (Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera, I.P.). The project’s goal is to promote efficiency and sustainability in the medicinal cannabis industry, taking a leading role in the implementation of environmentally sustainable practices.
